Dear Consort Family,

It is time to kick off Opus 29 with our read-through of all our season’s music—this Friday, June 21, 7:00 to 10:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church in San Anselmo. You will be receiving a packet of music, along with a seating chart and a detailed schedule outlining which pieces we’ll be practicing at each rehearsal. Those two items can also be found at the links at the bottom of this email. Don’t forget a pencil! 

We are hitting the ground running this year, and will be following up our Friday evening read-through with our first of two Saturday rehearsal workshops (10:00 am to 3:00 pm, also at First Pres) and our first Monday evening rehearsal, 7:00 to 9:30 pm at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Belvedere.

Briefly, regarding absences: We have asked you all to email Allan if you know that you will need to miss a rehearsal this summer. To help us with our goal of taking attendance this year, it would be very helpful if you would also quickly fill out our Absence Sheet form. Attendance will be taken at rehearsals this year, via a sign-in sheet, so please make sure you find the sheet at each rehearsal.

First Presbyterian does not have a dedicated parking lot, but street parking has generally not been an issue in the past. St. Stephen’s does have a parking lot, which I understand is across the street from the church. Accessible parking is available at both locations.
