From the Sonoma Valley Chorale.

The year 2020 is the year that the world is celebrating the 250th birthday of

So we have decided to replace our May 2020 concert which was to be the Brahms "Requiem" with a concert celebrating
Beethoven's 250th Birthday!

We will perform this concert twice on Memorial Day weekend May 23 and 24, 2020 at a venue to be announced.

The concert will begin with "Hallelujah!" from Beethoven's Mount of Olives. John Pavik (our Associate Conductor) will then play the first movement of Beethoven's iconic 5th Symphony on the organ. This will be followed by one of Beethoven's masterpieces, The "Mass in C Major" opus 86, which includes not only the Chorale, but a stellar quarter of soloists as well as orchestra. This will truly be a magnificent celebration worthy of one of the world's greatest composers. We hope you will consider joining us!!

Rehearsals will begin on Monday night, March 16, 2020 at 7:00 pm at Sonoma Valley High School (music room)
We'd LOVE to have you join the party!!
