Lunch with the Maestros

You are cordially invited to join us for our fourth annual Consort Chorale Celebration Luncheon with the Maestros on Sunday, July 16, from noon to 3 p.m., at The Club Restaurant, 350 Smith Ranch Road, San Rafael. In addition to enjoying great food, an inspiring program, and a whole lot of fun, this event is the primary fundraising event for Consort Chorale.

The program will feature a lively panel discussion between Consort’s Artistic Director, Allan Petker, and this year’s summer guest conductor, Dr. David Dickau (who also happens to be Allan’s brother-in-law). Longtime Consort member and journalist Lily O’Brien will interview both Allan and David and create a discourse between them, which always turn out to be entertaining, humorous, and filled with many surprises.

David is a choral conductor and composer who lives in Boise, Idaho. He retired in May 2019 from a career as Director of Choral Activities at Minnesota State University, Mankato. As a part of his duties, he conducted the Concert Choir and taught conducting and composition. He composes numerous commissioned pieces each year and his compositions are widely performed throughout the United States, including by Consort Chorale.

The fee for the luncheon is $75 per person and menu choices are below. Salad, coffee, and dessert are also included.
