Your Steadfast Love, O Lord - Sanford Dole
Adapted from Psalm 36:5-10
YouTube Link

Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens: your faithfulness up to the clouds. Your righteousness is like the strong mountains, your judgments are like the great deep: you, Lord, save both people and beasts. How precious is you steadfast love, O God: mortals take refuge in the shadow of your wings. They feast on the rich abundance of your house: you give them drink from the streams of your delights. For with you is the well of life and in your light we see light. Continue your loving kindness to those who know you: and your justice to the true of heart.

bless us , lord, with your peace - Sanford Dole

Consort Chorale consists of selected choral singers primarily from the San Francisco Bay Area who are dedicated to the choral art form. Every summer, for the past seventeen years, the group has auditioned in May, gathered for almost-weekly rehearsals and then an intensive week of nightly rehearsals, culminating in a crowdpleasing concert. The unique “intensive” format comes with certain limitations, but provides an opportunity for singers to share in their love of choral music through the ages. We are indebted to the artistic rehearsal contributions of David Irvine, RuthE. Wells and Sanford Dole, whose assistance in preparation is immeasurable.

Allan Robert Petker , founder-director of Consort Chorale, is an internationally known choral conductor, clinician and prolific composer with over 250 published works. He is the President of Pavane Publishing and the Director of Publications for the Fred Bock Music Companies. He is the Artistic Director and Conductor of the Santa Clarita Master Chorale and the Director of Music at the First Presbyterian Church in San Pedro.

Special thanks to the First Presbyterian Church of San Anselmo; Bob Friestad, Consort’s unflappable Dean; The Madison Company for their assistance with our publicity.

Please join us for a reception on the patio immediately following the concert.
